Václav Havel Prague Airport

is located on the northwest edge of the city, around 15 kilometres from the city centre (around 30 minutes). Prague Airport operates two terminals. Terminal 1 (with passport control)  is designated for departures to countries outside of the Schengen Area while Terminal 2 (without passport control) handles departures to the Schengen Area member states.

Getting from the airport is possible by public bus, shuttle or taxi service.

Buses

Bus No. 119 runs between the AIRPORT and the DEJVICKÁ metro station (line A). The ride takes about 25 minutes. Mon – Sun 5:00 – 0:00 every 10 min,  0:00 - 5:00 every 30 min.

Bus No.100 runs between the AIRPORT and the ZLIČÍN metro station (line B) and the journey takes about 15 minutes. Mon – Sun 4:30 – 23.30 every 30 min.

Bus AE (Airport Express) is very useful for transport to the city centre –> Dejvická (Metro Line A) -> Náměstí repubiky (Metro Line B) -> Masarykovo Train Station (Metro Line B) -> Main Train Station (Metro Line C). Travel time to Dejvická takes approx. 15 minutes, and to the Main Station approx. 45 minutes. A fare of 50 CZK is charged on this route when purchased from the driver. The bus service does not operate during the night. During the day it runs every 30 minutes.

 

Shuttles 

Prague Airport Transfers operate an airport shuttle service using mostly 8-seater Mercedes vehicles (550 CZK for up to 4 passengers or 780 CZK for up to 8 passengers). Departs approximately every 30 minutes.

 

Taxi

A private transport service at a fixed price, depends of course on the distance and traffic. But the standard price to the city centre is around 600 CZK and you shouldn’t pay more than 700 CZK.
